Skysoft Inc. is a holding company which, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in developing and operating digital music application services. The Company's digital music subscription service (KKBOX) is operated in Taiwan through Skysoft Co., Ltd. Its digital music software business (KKTONE) is operated through Skyplay Co., Ltd. in People's Republic of China.

In Jan, 2005, the Company launched KKBOX (www.kkbox.com), the first legitimate digital music subscription service in Taiwan. KKBOX quickly became the largest online music distribution service and online music community network in Taiwan, offering legal online service for music streaming, downloading, and social networking. Every day KKBOX enables millions of users to legitimately listen to music, write about music,and share their music preferences. It is also regarded by major music labels as the most successful legitimate digital music service in greater China.

KKBOX, which derives its revenue from its monthly subscription model, offers unlimited music streaming and subscription-download service. As of July 2007, the service had over 1 million songs in its music library, and had over 3.5 million registered users with 280,000 paid monthly subscribers. The KKBOX music library, possibly the largest legal library for the Chinese market, has been developed in close collaboration with over 140 music labels, including the global majors (SonyBMG, Universal Music, Warner Music, EMI).

The Company is currently seeking expansion for KKBOX in China as well as in other countries through local partnerships.

The Company launched a software product in Feb. 2008 in China called "KKTONE" (www.kktone.com.cn) which as of July 2007 had over 3.3 million PC installed-base. KKTONE・s core music-fingerprint technology helps user to automatically ；recognize and organize： their local music song files, and makes recommendation to users on new songs and music videos through the Internet.
